  • What courses are included in Chinese Critical Thinking and Expression courses?

  • Are international students required to take Chinese Critical Thinking and Expression courses?

    Yes. All undergraduate students at our university (including overseas Chinese students and international students) are required to complete 2 credits each of “Chinese Reading and Thinking” and “Chinese Writing and Expression” during their studies.

  • How do I register for Chinese Critical Thinking and Expression and Basic Chinese for International Students courses?

    Students add or drop courses through the online course selection system. For freshmen, course selection is based on the designated time slots assigned to each department. To support interdisciplinary learning and provide more flexibility, additional evening classes are offered for students to choose from. Sophomore and above students should add “Chinese Reading and Thinking” and  “Chinese Writing and Expression” during the university-wide add/drop period. Please refer to the course query system for the detailed course schedule. Currently, only “Basic Chinese for International Students” courses are offered. Students can add or drop them through the online course selection system; however, “Basic Chinese for International Students” courses cannot be used to waive the 4 credits of Chinese Critical Thinking and Expression courses.
  • How can I switch classes for Chinese Critical Thinking and Expression and Basic Chinese courses?

    Both courses must be added or dropped through the online course selection system.
