Topic 1: New Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

• Who is eligible for New Undergraduate Merit Scholarship?

  Students who meet the following:
  1) University academic aptitude test reaches 74 points or more
  2) Winner of an International Olympia contest or equivalent international science competition, bronze award or better.
  3) Received 4^th place or better at the US International Technology Exhibition.
  4) Students have participated in international competitions of music, art, sports with outstanding performance.

• How much is New Undergraduate Merit Scholarship?

  It’s up to $500,000 NTD

•  How and when can I apply for the New Undergraduate Merit Scholarship?

  Interested students can apply for the scholarship to their department for a recommendation within two weeks after the beginning of the semester.
