Chinese Thinking and expression Courses
Notes for Course Selections
【Course Rules】
Undergraduate Students should take two credits of the course “Chinese Reading and Thinking” and two credits of the course “Chinese Writing and Expression”.
【Course Selection】
Students add and drop classes online.
The class time for the “Chinese Thinking and Expression” is decided by each department.
During the Addition / Cancellation of courses period, students can choose courses across the time specified by the department. (Except for some special classes)

【Remedial Credits】
Ø Students who don’t have the credit of “Chinese (I)”, please take “Chinese Reading and Thinking”.
Ø Students who don’t have the credit of “Chinese (II)”, please take “Chinese Writing and Expression”.
【Credit Recognizing Rules for International Students】
International students should take four credits of Chinese for International Students Courses to waive the credits of “Chinese Reading and Thinking”, “Chinese Writing and Expression”. For more information, please see the page of course selection rules for international students.
Chinese Education Division will assess whether overseas Chinese students’ Chinese ability can afford the “Chinese reading and thinking”, “Chinese Writing and Expression” or not. If Chinese Education Division access that ability of overseas Chinese student can’t afford the course, the overseas Chinese student should follow the course selection rules for international students.
