Student ID photo replacement


Please do not make payment or apply for a new Student ID card until you have received the “Photo Replacement Completion Notification.”

I. Application Procedure for Photo Replacement

Students must submit the application via email using their official NTNU email account
(student ID number @ntnu.edu.tw; gapps email accounts are not accepted).

1.Email Subject: Student ID Card Photo Replacement
2.Email Content (please include):
  • Student ID Number
  • Full Name
  • Department / Institute
3.Attachments:
Digital photo file (JPG format). Please refer to the photo specifications below.
4.Recipient:
Please send the email to the staff member in charge of your department/institute.

II. Photo Specifications for Student ID Card

  1. File format: JPG
  2. File size: Within 1 MB
  3. Color photo, front-facing, no hat, clear ID-style photo
  4. Taken within the past two years
  5. Close-up of head and upper shoulders; face should occupy approximately 70%–80% of the photo (plain white background is recommended)
  6. In sharp focus with good image quality
  7. Eyes facing the camera directly, with appropriate brightness and contrast
