EasyCard Student Fare Validity and Usage Guidelines
EasyCard Information for Student ID CardsStored Value and Student Fare Validity
- The initial stored value of the EasyCard function on the Student ID card is NTD 0.
- The student fare discount is valid for four (4) years by default.
- For master’s and doctoral students, the validity period is set from the year of admission until the end of October of the validity year.
- Students who have not yet graduated by the expiration date must bring their Student ID card to:
the Registration Division, Office of Academic Affairs (1st Floor, Administration Building I, Heping Campus), or
the Gongguan Academic Affairs Office
to apply for an extension of the student fare validity. Each extension is valid for one (1) year.
If the student fare validity is not extended by the expiration date, the EasyCard will automatically lose the student discount and be charged at the regular adult fare rate.
Students are responsible for ensuring that extensions are completed on time. Any loss of benefits resulting from failure to extend the validity period shall be borne by the student.
EasyCard Usage Guidelines
- Avoid exposing the card to high temperatures and prevent bending, abrasion, cutting, or other physical damage.
- Do not tap multiple EasyCards on the reader at the same time, as this may cause sensing errors or duplicate charges.
- Do not place the card near metal objects during use.
- If the card is tapped too briefly or held too far from the sensor, please wait a moment and tap again.
- If the card is used while kept inside a wallet or bag, ensure that the thickness does not exceed 5 cm, and tap the card gently on the sensor.
