After Leaving the University

When completing the school-leaving procedures due to graduation or withdrawal, the student ID card will be stamped “Student ID Invalid,” and all student privileges will be cancelled before the card is returned.

(If the student ID card is lost, please first log in to the  NTNU Information Portal → click “Applications(more)” → Information Services → “Student ID Card Loss Reporting and Replacement System” to complete the loss report before proceeding with the school-leaving procedures.)

After leaving the university, the student ID card will be converted into a regular anonymous EasyCard:
  1. The EasyCard function may continue to be used.
  2. Loss reporting can no longer be handled through the university. If needed, please register the card under your name on the EasyCard website.
  3. Replacement will not be provided if the card is lost.
  4. The card may no longer be used as a student ID of this university. Any legal or compensation issues arising from failure to comply with the regulations shall be the sole responsibility of the cardholder.
