Q:體育是否可以抵免?
A:除轉學生於報到時經查驗原校成績單後,確認已於原校修習「大一體育」者得免修外;其餘新生不得辦理抵免體育。
Q: Can I get a physical education (PE) course exemption?
A: This service is only provided to transfer students. We will check the transcripts from previous schools to confirm the students’ qualifications for exemption from PE class credits upon student check-in.

Q:申請抵免學分的科目還須上網選課嗎?
A:已確認申請抵免成功之科目,請勿上網選課。已選擇之課程,請於全校加退選結束前退選。
Q: I’ve applied for transfer credits/course exemptions; should I still register for those courses online?
A: Once your application for credits/ exemptions is successful, please do not add those courses online. If you have already added, please remember to drop the classes before the end of the school-wide add/drop period.

Q:有關體育課修習之相關規定為何?
A:
(1)相同運動項目之體育課程,可於不同學期重複修習並算學分。
(2)因體育成績不及格,必須於次學期或四年級時補修或重修者,可直接以電腦選2門體育課(同一學期最多2門為限,且不得同時修習相同科目名稱。請於各學期加退選階段再行加選第2門體育課程,分發階段最多僅分發1門體育課)。註:因停修或缺修者(前一學期未選課或期中停修者),限大四時於開學後課程加退選期間,直接以電腦選課。
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
(3)已經修完體育6學分,系統將不再進行體育志願分發。
(4)體育系的課不可抵共同體育。
(5)體育課沒修過初級欲直接修中級者,請於開學第1節課時,出具相關報告書經任課教師及體育系同意後,以授權碼方式選課。
(6)體育課程授權碼加選由任課教師發放,然仍以大四以上學生為主。

Q: What are the related regulations about PE courses taking?
A:
(1)   The same type of PE courses may not be taken for credit repeatedly in every semester.
(2)   Students who need to make up or retake PE courses due to failing courses can enroll courses online for two courses in the next semester or the 4th year ( the maximum number of PE courses one student can take is two per semester, and the courses must cover different types of sports. During the add/drop period at the beginning of the semester, students need to add the second PE course, as the PE distribution system during pre-school enrollment periods only one PE class will be added.)
 
Notice: If due to withdrawal or a missed semester (withdrawal during the midterm week), the fourth year students can directly add the PE course during the add/drop period through the online course registration system.
(3)   After completing six credits of PE courses, the system will not allow registration of additional PE courses.
(4)   Department of Physical Education courses cannot be used to exempt the general education PE class.
(5)   If you have not taken the general PE class and want to enroll in the intermediate PE course, please show the related certificates from your department and the teacher who teaches that class at the beginning of the semester. We will provide you an authorization code to enroll the class.
(6)   Typically only the fourth year (and above) students will get an authorization code from the teacher when they select PE courses.

Q:通識課程修習相關規定為何?
A:
(1)學生修習通識課程須符合下列原則:
Ⅰ、除語文10學分外,學生至少應修習18學分之通識課程。
Ⅱ、學生於各通識領域至少須修習2學分。
Ⅲ、其餘4學分,得修習七大領域通識或第二外語、生活技能課程。
(2)請同學確實核對通識學分,如有相關疑慮,請洽詢本校通識中心。

Q: What are the requirements for General Education (GE) courses?
A:
(1)   Students who take GE courses should meet the following requirements:
           I.   In addition to ten credits of language courses, students are required to take at least eighteen additional GE credits.
         II.   Students are required to take at least two credits in each of GE fields.
      III.   Students may choose to take the remaining four credits from one the following: any of the seven GE fields, foreign language courses, or life skill courses.

Q:「全民國防教育軍事訓練課程」之修習規定為何?
A:
(1)    自99學年度起,「國防教育」科目名稱改為「全民國防教育」,其課程大綱不變;折抵兵役問題請洽詢【專責導師辦公室】(02-7734-3123)。
(2)    學期總學分數不含全民國防教育軍事訓練課程及體育。
Q: What are the requirements for taking National Defense Education courses?
A:
(1) Starting from 2010 academic school year, the “National Defense Education” has already renamed the “All-Out Defense Education Military Training”, the course did not change. If you have any questions about military service, please call the Office of Student Affairs Counselor (02-7734-3123).
(2)   The total of credits each semester do not include the credits of military and physical education courses.

Q:如何查詢課程?
A:
(1)請至開課查詢系統中選擇:課程查詢(日間學制)課程查詢(在職專班暨EMBA班)
(2)選擇「開課和課程大綱查詢」。
(3)再單一選擇「開課系所」或授課「教師姓名」或「課程名稱」,亦可進行複合式的課程查詢。
(4)查詢到欲選的課程後,可勾選該課程,再按【課程綱要】瀏覽課程大綱。
(5)您可線上瀏覽課程大綱,或列印成紙本。
Q: How do I search for courses?
A:
(1)   Please visit the course inquiry system: [NTNU Schedule of Classes] or [Adult School and EMBA Class Schedules]
(2)   Choose [Current Schedule of Classes]
(3)   Choose one or more options on department, instructor or the course name to do multiple searches.
(4)   When you have found your ideal course, you can enroll that class and then click [course description] to check the description.
(5)   You can check course description on the Internet or print it out.
 
主題三:選課作業
Topic 3:Class Registration
1.        
Q:有關學分數上、下限之規定為何?選課系統之設定為何?
A:
(1)    依學則第13條規定學士班一至三年級每學期不得少於16學分,不得多於27學分;四年級每學期不得少於9學分,不得多於27學分;若因特殊情況,經系主任核可後,得於當學期加選或減選一至二科目,延長修業期限學生於註冊時至少應修習一門科目。
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
(2)選課系統於第一階段設定輔系、雙主修及四年級同學選課學分上限為27學分,一般生為23學分(以上不含普通體育、通識、全民國防教育軍事訓練課程),第二階段之選課學分上限為33學分。超修之核可,請依學則第13條規定,自行下載列印選課清單交系上認可,若未經系主任核准超修者,將通知退選(即學分總數大於27學分,不含體育、全民國防教育軍事訓練課程)。
Q: What are the rules and regulations regarding the maximum and the minimum of credits? What is the setting of the Course Enrollment System?
 
A:
(1)              According to Article 13 of the School Constitution, first-year to third-year undergraduates are required to take at least 16 credits per semester with a maximum load of 27 credits. The fourth year students are required to take credits between 9 and 27 credits. If any special circumstance arises, students can add or drop one or two courses after the approval of the departmental chair. When students extend their term of study, they should enroll at least one course.
During the first phase of the course enrollment period: the maximum number of credits that double major and the fourth year students can take is 27. The maximum credits for current students are 23. All credits do not include the general PE, GE, and All-Out Defense Education Military Training courses.
 
(2)During the second phase of course enrollment period: the maximum credits are 33. If you want to have the approval of course overload, based on Article 13 of the School Constitution,  you can print the course enrollment list out and confirm with your department.  If you do not get the permission from the Chair of your department, we will inform you to cut your credits to 27(or below). All the credits do not include the PE and All-Out Defense Education Military Training Courses.

Q:何謂「選課授權碼」?
 
 
A:
(1)「選課授權碼」是為因應同學修課需要,某科因故無法於電腦加退選期間進行加選,而由開課教師依該科目上網下載產生,自主決定將「選課授權碼」發給同學,在加退選期限內自行上網登錄「選課授權碼」,即可完成選課。
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
(2)以授權碼加選之課程不得退選(僅得辦理期中停修),亦不得轉讓。
Q: What are course authorization codes?
 
A:
(1)   Based on the enrollment need, the course authorization codes will be issued when students cannot add/drop courses in the online course registration system, the course instructors can download the course authorization codes themselves and give the codes to students who want to enroll the courses. When students got the course authorization codes, they can use the codes to enroll the courses in the course registration system.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
(2)    Students, who use the course authorization code to enroll the courses, cannot drop the class or unauthorized enrollment transfers. Students could only drop the class during the mid-semester.
 
3.         
Q:如何取得「選課授權碼」及選課?
 
A:
(1)同學若有「不符合限修或擋修條件(如限年級、系所、輔系等)」、「欲加選科目已額滿」之情形無法以電腦進行加選某科目時,請向開課教師索取選課授權碼後,由同學在選課程式,請點選「授權碼選課」之選項,輸入所取得之選課授權碼,先按下【查詢】出現授權碼課程,再按【加選】進行選課。

Q: How do I obtain and use a course authorization code?
A:
(1)   If students receive a “do not meet requirements for course enrollment” (such as year, major, minor, etc.) or “the selected class is already full” and cannot add a class using the online course registration system, they can ask the instructor for an authorization code. After having the code, please enter the online course registration system, selecting [enrollment via course authorization code], and enter the codes that they have.  Students should click [search]; when the course shows on the system, they can click [add courses] to enroll that course.

Q:開課教師發送「選課授權碼」有名額限制嗎?
A:
(1)    授權碼人數為限修人數之一定比例:限修人數為80人以下之課程,授權碼比例不得超過40%;限修人數為81人以上之課程,授權碼比例不得超過10%;教育學程課程,授權碼比例不得超過20%;普通體育課程,授權碼比例不得超過10%。
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
(2)加退選期間授課教師可以教室容量為上限,調高授權碼人數。
Q: Are authorization codes limited in number?
A:
(1)   There is a fixed ratio to Course Authorization codes: If the number of enrolled students is less than 80, the number of the codes cannot exceed 40 percent of enrolled students. If the number of enrolled students is more than 81, the number of the codes cannot exceed 10 percent of enrolled students.  The ratio of codes to education courses cannot exceed 20 percent. The ratio of codes to general PE courses cannot exceed 10 percent.
 
(2)   During the add/drop courses period, the instructors can increase the number of authorization codes according to the maximum of the classroom capacity.
5.          
Q:有哪些情形不可使用「選課授權碼」選課?
A:
(1)不得違反修習通識教育科目之相關規定。
(2)加選教育課程者須具教育學程資格,每學期最多9學分;加選教材教法、教學實習前應修滿12教育學分(含本學期計算)。
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
(2)    共同科英文(二)與英文(三),不符合先修條件者。
 
 
(3)    學士班每學期選課上限為27至33學分,研究生每學期選課上限為18學分;學士班學生若超修者,須經系主任核可後,得加選1至2科。
 
 
 
 
(4)    以選課授權碼加選之課程,不得與已選課程衝堂。
 
 
 
(6)其他違反本校選課相關規定者。
Q: When are authorization codes not applicable to class registration?
A:
(1)   When students violate the regulations of General Education.
(2)   Students who do not meet the following requirements cannot add education courses: students without qualification or students take education courses less than 9 credits. Before adding teaching material and methods courses, and teaching internship, students did not take 12 credits (including the current semester).
 
 
 
(3)   Students do not meet the prerequisites for the English II and English III courses.
 
(4)   Undergraduate students can take up to 27-33 credits, while graduates can take up to 18 credits. If undergraduate students want to overtake courses, without having the approval from their chair of the department, students cannot add 1-2 more courses.
 
(5)   The courses, which enroll via Authorization codes, have scheduling conflicts with the courses that students have already enrolled.
(6)   Students violate the related rules of course enrollment.
 
6.         
Q:若取得「選課授權碼」後,卻忘記登錄怎麼辦?
 
 
A:選課授權碼需在加退選期間使用,若逾期未登錄則選課授權碼即失效,不得以任何理由要求補登。
Q: What if I obtained a course authorization code, but forget to enroll for the course online?
 
A: Course authorization codes could only be used during add/drop period. After this period, authorization codes will be invalid and will not be reissued for any reason.
7.         
Q:「選課授權碼」不慎遺失怎麼辦?
 
 
A:請即向開課教師查詢並抄下選課授權碼的編號,並在加退選期間內上網登錄。若在詢問教師後仍無法登錄選課授權碼,請洽課務組02-7734‐1114。
Q: What if I’ve lost my course authorization code?
 
A: Please contact the instructor, writing down the course authorization code, enrolling online during add/ drop period. If you have any problem, please contact the Curriculum Division (02-7734-1114).

Q:有關教育學程選課之規定為何?
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
A:
(1)    具教育學程資格者始得修習,不具教育學程資格者無法選修,亦無法以授權碼加選;有關教育學程資格取得之相關規定,請洽詢本校【師培處】。
 
 
 
 
 
 
(2)    第一階段選課採志願填寫後亂數分發。
 
 
 
(3)本校教育學程科目不受理校際選課。
Q: What are the guidelines for Education course enrollment?
 
 
 
 
 
 
A:
(1)   Only students qualified for the Education course track will be able to enroll in Education courses. Authorization codes cannot circumvent these restrictions.
Only the students who equip with the qualification of education courses can take the education courses. For more information, please contact the Office of Teacher Education.
(2)   During the first course selection period, students can arrange the courses in order of preference, and the school will randomly distribute students to each course.
(3)   Our Education courses are not open to inter-school elective students.
9.         
Q:有關各類學分學程選課之規定為何?
 
A:
(1)    已經核定具學分學程資格者始得俢習。自第二階段選課起,學分學程課程開放不具學分學程資格者登記加選(部分未同意開放之學分學程除外)。
 
 
 
 
 
 
(2)該學分可當自由選修學分。
Q: What are the guidelines for credit program courses enrollment?
A:
(1)   Students who already have the qualification can take credit programs. When the second phase of enrollment is open, the credit programs will open to students who do not equip with the qualification of taking credit program courses (some courses will not open to students who do not have the qualification of taking credit program courses).
(2)   The credits that students receive can be used towards credits of free elective courses.

Q:各類課程分發原則為何?
 
A:
(1)    一般性分發原則:以課程意見填答率高者優先分發,其次為大四生(跨學制合開課程不設定大四優先,如:大碩合開、大碩博合開課程,僅依課程意見填答率高低順序分發)【說明:若某課程登記人數超過限修人數時,分發順序如下:課程意見填答率高者→大四生→亂數分發】。

(2)    系(所)專業課程分發原則:本系優先【說明:系(所)專業課程分發時,除依限修條件(如限本系、限輔系等)檢查外,依以下優先順序分發:本系生→雙主修生、輔系生→外系生】,各身份別中,又以課程意見填答率高者→大四生順序分發。
 
 
 
 
 
(3)    通識課程分發原則:
 
1、第一學期各通識課程保留15%名額提供新生於新生選課階段選課。
 
 
 
1、          第一、二階段選課,若通識課程已修滿單一領域學分上限者(含當學期選修之通識學分),該領域不再分發;自加退選階段起,不再限制領域上限。
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
3、96學年度(含)之前入學者為四大領域,各領域上限8學分;97學年度以後入學者,為六大核心及一般通識,各領域上限6學分。
Q:  How does the course distribution system work?
A:
(1)   Normal distribution: The priority of courses distribution will depend on the complete degree of a survey by each student. If a student completes all surveys, they will be prioritized for placement in their preferred course. The fourth-year students will be in the second round for placement. Courses open to different programs (courses open to undergraduate and graduate school programs) will depend on the completion degree of the survey to select students who can take the class. If the enrollment exceeds the maximum number of spots available, the distribution order will be: students who have a high completion degree of surveys, seniors, then random distribution.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Notice:
* The fourth-year students include the students who study four years (or more).
 
 
 
 
* the complete degree of courses evaluation is that the number of complete course surveys divide by the whole enrolled courses and multiply by 100%. For example, a student took ten courses in a semester. By the deadline of filling out the course evaluation survey, he/she completed nine surveys. Therefore, the complete degree of courses evaluation is 90% (Withdrawn and excused courses are regarded as completed automatically).
 
 
(2)   Priority goes to students in the major. When choosing students who can enroll the professional courses, from special circumstances (restricting to students in the department or for minoring), the priority order is as follows: major students→ double-major or minor students→ students from other departments.
 
 
(3)   The Distribution principle of General Education Distribution:
(i)   During the first semester, we reserve 15% of student number in General Education courses and provide to new students to enroll the class.
 
(ii)   During the first and second phases of courses enrollment, if a student has already taken up to the maximum of credits in one of GE fields (including the current semester), the field is no longer distributed for the student; however, the student can still enroll the field during add/ drop courses period.
(iii)   If students entered NTNU by 2007, can take up to 8 credits in each of four fields. If students entered NTNU after 2008, can take up to 6 credits in each of 6 Keystone courses and GE courses.

Q:選課人數不足無法開課怎麼辦?
A:
 
 
(1)    本校各系所開課最低學生數標準請參照本校【各系所開課最低學生數標準】。
 
 
 
(2)若選課人數不足無法開課,系統會主動將已選該門課之學生選課刪除,若因此致當學期學分總數不足者,由系所協助進行相關選課輔導。
Q: What if a class does not meet the minimum number of students required?
A:
(1)   For more information, please refer to the “Minimum number of students required per class regulations by each department.”
 
(2)   If a course does not meet the minimum number of students required, the system will automatically remove all students from the class. In this situation, if students do not meet the minimum credits that they should take in the current semester, each of their departments should assist the students to take other classes in order to meet the minimum credits in the current semester.
 
12.     
Q:我是學士班二年級以上的在學生,為什麼第1階段選課期間卻不能選課?
 
 
 
A:前一學期不及格學分數達1/2以上者,皆須填寫「選課暨學習輔導紀錄表」,經導師輔導核章後依限繳回教務處,始完成選課程序(選課輔導表請於開學後至各學系辦公室領取)。未繳交「選課暨學習輔導紀錄表」者,將限制下學期第1階段選課權限。
Q: I am a sophomore (or above), why I am unable to enroll courses during the first phase of course enrollment?
 
A: If students who did not pass half of the courses that they took in the last semester, students are required to fill out a “course selection record form” obtaining the approval from their advisers and then submit the form to the Office of Academic Affairs (academic counseling forms can be obtained from each department after the beginning of the semester). Once students who did not submit the course selection record form to the office of academic affairs, the authority of the first phase of enrollment to the student will be limited.
 
主題四:校際選課
Topic 4: Inter-School Course Electives
1.        
Q:如何選「國立臺灣大學系統」的課?
 
 
A:
(1)    自103學年度第2學期起,學生只需使用本校選課系統,即可選擇系統學校開放之課程。
 
 
 
(2)103-2起,臺灣大學系統校際選課不再受理紙本申請。
Q: How can I enroll the courses in the “National Taiwan University (NTU) Triangle”?
A:
(1)Starting from the second semester of the 2014 academic year, students can use the NTNU online course selection system to enroll the courses that the NTU Triangle system opens to enroll.
(2)Starting from the second semester of 2014, the NTU Triangle system was no longer to accept inter-school applications in paper format.
2.      
Q:有關校際選課之規定及申請手續為何?
 
A:
(1)    申請校際選課之課程,應以本校各系所當學期未開設之課程為限。
 
 
 
(2)    校際選課之科目學分總數,不得超過所屬系所規定之最低應修畢業學分數三分之一。
 
 
 
 
(3)    申請日期請參閱【當年度學校行事曆】。
 
 
 
(4)    請於教務處網站「選課→校際選課」,列印申請表格,送請系所主管核章後向教務處課務組提出申請,經審查合於規定者才可至他校辦理登記繳費事宜;最後將表單送回本校教務處,始完成校際選課手續。
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
(5)103-2起,臺灣大學系統校際選課不再受理紙本申請。

Q: What are the rules and procedures for inter-school courses enrollment?
A:
(1)   When students apply for inter-school courses, they could only enroll the courses that NTNU does not provide in the current semester.
 
 
(2)   The total credits of inter-school should not exceed one-thirds of the minimum required credits in the department that the student belongs.
 
 
(3)   For the information about the application dates, please see [Academic Calendar].
 
 
(4)   If students want to apply for inter-school courses, they should download the application form from the office of academic affairs website (click the category Course selection→ inter-school courses selection). After filling out the form, students should send to their department office and get the approval from the Chair of the department. Once complete the procedure, students can pay the tuition to the school that they want to enroll the courses. After sending back the form to the office of academic affairs, it means that students finished the whole procedure of inter-school courses enrollment.
(5)   Starting from the second semester of 2014, the NTU Triangle system was no longer to accept inter-school applications in paper format.

主題五:期中停修
Topic 5:Mid-semester Class Suspension
1.      
Q:有關課程停修之規定及申請方式為何?
A:
(1)    學生申請停修,應先填妥停修課程申請書,經任課教師及系(所)主管同意後,於申請截止日前將表單送至所屬學系所辦公室,再由系所辦公室統一送交教務處課務組辦理。各系(所)得自訂停修條件。
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
(2)    學生欲停修課程須於本校行事曆規定之期中考結束當日起十四個工作天(含)內提出申請。詳細辦理時間,請參閱各學年【當年度學校行事曆】。
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
(3)    停修課程每學期以不超過 3 學分為限,但情況特殊經導師及就讀系(所)主管同意者,不在此限。
 
 
 
 
(4)    停修之課程於成績單成績欄註明「W」,其學分數不計入該學期修習學分總數。
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
(5)    依規定應繳交學分費(學分學雜費)之課程停修後,其學分費(學分學雜費)已繳交者不予退費,未繳交者仍應補繳。

Q: How do students withdraw from class(es) during the mid-semester?
A:
(1)   If a student wants to apply for dropping a class, the student should fill out the application form and have the approval from the instructor and the Chair of the department. After that, the student should send back the application form to the staff of his/her department. The staff will send the applications to the Curriculum Division for approval. Each department may have its own regulations to the dropping course.
 
 
(2)   If a student wants to apply for dropping a class, the student should complete the application within 14 working days after the ending of midterm week. For exact timeline information, please refer to the current academic calendar.
 
 
 
(3)   Students, who withdraw from courses, should not exceed 3 credits per semester. If there’s any special circumstance, the office of academic affairs can make exceptions after the students have the grant from their adviser and the Chair of the department.
 
 
(4)   The courses, which students have already withdrawn, will mark as ‘W’ on the transcript, and the total number of credits in the current semester will not count toward the credits of the courses.
 
 
(5)   When students withdraw from courses, the tuition that they paid in the beginning of the semester will not be refunded. If students are not yet to pay the tuition, they are still required to pay the credit fees of the withdrawing courses.
