Topic 1Capstone Course
1.         
Q : 國立臺灣師範大學為何要補助總整課程?
A : 國立臺灣師範大學為提升本校教學品質,鼓勵各學系(所)檢視課程架構及評估學生學習成效,規劃總結性整合式課程 (Capstone Course,以下簡稱總整課程) 。
Q: Why do we subsidize the Capstone Course?
A: Through encouraging faculties to examine the course structure and evaluate student learning outcomes, we hope to enhance the teaching quality; therefore, NTNU provides Capstone Courses to faculty members.
2.           
Q : 總整課程補助對象為何?
 
A :總整課程補助對象以系(所)為單位,由系(所)主任擔任主持人統籌計畫申請,授課教師撰寫個別課程計畫,負責授課事宜。
Q:Who can receive Capstone Course Subsidize?
A: The Capstone Course is targeted at faculties. The Chair of Department will have to organize and submit the application, while the lecturer will take charge in the course outline and teaching.

Q : 總整課程補助申請時間?
 A : 每年 10 月底或 3 月底接受申請。
Q: when is the application period of Capstone Course?
 A: applications are accepted at the end of March or October every year.

Q : 總整課程授課方式及時數如何計算?
 
   
A : 學系(所)可依需求規劃一位或兩位教師授課。若安排2位以上教師授課,授課方式有兩種:一為共同授課,即教師同時出席課堂授課,依據總整課程補助要點可核發相同授課時數給2位共授教師,共授教師可有兩位;另一為合作授課,學系可依教師授課時數比例計算鐘點給合授教師,合授教師可為2位以上。
有關教師授課時數規定或上限,請依據「國立臺灣師範大學教師授課時數核計要點」辦理。
Q: How to calculate the total teaching hours and how does it work?
    
A: The faculty can assign one or two teachers to teach. There are two teaching ways for courses which instruct by two and more professors:
1.  Co-lecturing: when two instructors teach in the same class at the same time, according to the guidelines detailing courses funding, the two teachers can enjoy same teaching hours.
2.  Collaborate: The total lecturing time will be verified by the hour, and the number of instructors can be two or more.

5.           
Q : 總整課程為必修課程嗎?
A : 依據總整課程補助目的,為鼓勵各學系檢視課程架構及評估學生學習成效,提出申請的總整課程可為選修或必修課程。
Q: Is the Capstone Course compulsory?
A: Accordingly, to examine the course structure and evaluate student learning outcomes, the Capstone Course can be taken as an elective or compulsory.
6.           
Q : 總整課程補助的經費項目?
 
A : 經費項目包括講座鐘點費、臨時人員工讀費、誤餐費、國內差旅費、印刷裝訂費、稿費及雜費,不含人事費及資本門(設備費)。
 
   
 
經費編列時,若有競賽獎金,需於預算編列時清楚說明獎金如何分配,再交由教發中心上簽動支經費。另外,不得編列紀念品、禮品或宣導品之經費。但必要頒發之獎品及依國際禮儀致贈外賓之禮品,不在此限。
Q: What are the budget categories of the Capstone Course?
A: The categories include workshop costs, part-time fee, overtime meal allowance, domestic travel reimbursement, printing fee, payment for article or book was written and other fees.
Notice: the budgets of the categories do not include personnel expenses and equipment expenses.
 
When you make budgets plan and there are some budgets for contest awards, please detailed explain how you distribute the awards. After completing the application form, please submit to our center for approval.
Notice: Besides necessary awards and gifts for foreigner guests, when applicants apply for the budgets, they cannot list souvenirs, gifts in their budget plan.    
 
Topic 2Peer Review of Teaching
1.           
Q :為何要實施同儕觀課與回饋制度?
 
A : 國立臺灣師範大學為協助新進教師教學專業發展,進而提升教學品質與學生學習成效,特規劃同儕觀課與回饋制度 (Peer Review,以下簡稱同儕觀課) 。
Q: Why do we implement the Peer Review of Teaching Program?
A: Through the program, NTNU hopes assist new faculty members with their teaching career, improve the teaching quality and learning efficiency of students.

Q : 同儕觀課的協助對象為何?
   
A :同儕觀課主要以本校新進初任教師為主,由教學發展中心協助,每位新進教師將個別安排兩位具經驗之教師擔任諮詢教師,共同參與觀課與討論回饋。
Q: Who is eligible for Peer Review of Teaching Program?
 
A: The Peer Review of teaching program is targeted at new faculty members. Our center provides two experienced faculty members to discuss with each of new faculty members in the projects of class observation and feedback.

Q : 同儕觀課進行時間?
 
 
A : 新進初任教師應於到職一學年內進行一次同儕觀課與回饋計畫。
Q: When should the new faculty members start the Peer Review of Teaching Program?
A: The new faculty members should attend in the Peer Review of Teaching program at least once in their first year of the school.
4.           
Q:計畫結束後,是否需繳交成果報告或有其他相關規定?
A:觀課活動後,需煩請諮詢教師提供觀課紀錄表作為相關紀錄。
Q: Is it required to submit upon program completion?
A: After the review of teaching, the experienced faculty members should provide the records of the teaching review to be the related recording.
 
 
Topic 3Teaching Innovation and Professional Association Subsidy
1.           
Q:誰可提出補助申請?若欲申請,應於何時提出?
A:凡本校專任講師以上教師得以個人或專業社群名義提出申請。專業社群由三位以上教師組成,並由一名教師擔任召集人,召集人應負責規劃、聯繫與相關成果彙整。申請時間為每學期一次。
Q: Who is eligible for grants, and when is the application period?
A: NTNU teaching faculty can apply for the program as an individual or as a professional community. Three teaching faculties can group a professional community. One of teachers in the community should be the leader of the community and he/she should be in charge of projects planning, contact person, outcome reporting. Application forms are accepted once per semester.

Q:申請本補助計畫應提供哪些資料?
 
A:
1.申請文件與內容包含:
申請者需於規定時間內提出詳盡計畫書,說明計畫名稱、預定改進的目的、項目、實施方式、進度、經費預算及預期之學生受益可能性。
     
2.如已受本要點補助一次以上者,於再次申請時,須檢附前次補助計畫執行成果報告。
Q: What information do I need to provide if I want to apply for the program?
A:
1.Application documents should include:
The detailed information of the project, the name of the project, the perspective, the approach of the project, the progress of the project, budgets and the evaluation of beneficial possibility for students.
2. If applicants have already applied for the grants before, they should attach an outcome report of the previous project when they apply the new projects.

Q:計畫結束後,是否需繳交成果報告或有其他相關規定?
A:計畫結束除須繳交成果報告外,亦須參加本中心每年底辦理之「六藝講會─聯合成果發表會」或相關活動。
Q: What am I required to submit upon project completion?
A: In addition to the project outcome report, recipients are required to participate in the center’s annual “Six Arts Lectures (Liuyi) ─Outcome Presentation”or other related activities.
 
Topic 4Teaching Awards
1.       
Q:教師教學獎勵有哪些獎勵?
A:教師教學獎勵設有「教學優良獎」和「教學傑出獎」兩項,每年頒發乙次。「教學傑出獎」得獎者公開表揚,且依獎別頒予獎金,「教學優良獎」獎金為新臺幣參萬元整,「教學傑出獎」獎金為新臺幣拾萬元整。此外,教師教學獎勵相關獎項已納入「國立臺灣師範大學教師評鑑準則」,成為免評鑑條件之一種,相關內容請至本校研究發展處網頁「企劃組」→「相關法規」專區下載。
Q: What are the Teaching Awards?
A: There are two kinds of annual teaching awards, the “Awards of Distinction in Teaching (DIT)” and the “Awards of Excellence in Teaching (EIT).”Winners of the EIT are publicly announced. The EIT includes a prize of NTD$30,000, while the DIT is a prize of NTD$100,000. In addition, teaching awards are regarded as one of the claim credits in NTNU Teacher Promotion Criteria. For more details, please refer to the NTNU Research and Development website, and download the relevant documents at [planning team] -> [regulations].

Q:教師可向哪些單位提出申請?
A:教師請向系所提出申請,僑生先修部教師則向僑生先修部提出申請。申請前二學期曾教授教育專業課程或通識課程之教師,也可向師資培育與就業輔導處或教務處通識教育中心提出申請。
Q: Where can teachers apply?
A: Teachers can apply to their departments (Overseas Education Center teachers can apply to the Overseas Education Department). Lecturers who have taught professional education courses and General Education courses in the past two semesters can also apply to the Teachers Education and Employment Service Office or the Academic Affairs General Education Office.

Q:教師教學獎勵選薦之審查項目
 
  
A:審查項目包括「學生課程意見調查結果」、「學生學習成效」、「教學投入(各科目學分數乘以選課人數後之加總)」、「教學改進與創新」、「教材、教學媒體或教法研發」、「數位資源或教學平台運用」及「其他重大教學優良事蹟」。須注意的是,若申請教師申請為教學優良獎,僅需提供前一年之各項審查項目;若申請教師有意願被推薦為教學傑出獎,則需提供前三年之各項審查項目。
Q:
What are the evaluation standards of teaching awards?
 
A: The evaluation standards of teaching awards include: "student course evaluation", "student learning outcomes", "educational contributions" (for each class, the number of units is multiplied by number of students, and summed up in total), "teaching improvements and innovations", "educational textbooks, materials, media, and developments", "digital teaching platform use and development", and "other major educational contributions". Please note that applications for the DIT should provide related teaching materials used in the past year, and applications for the EIT should provide related teaching materials used in the past three years.
4.      
 
A:遴選程序包括系所推薦階段、院(僑先部、處、中心)遴選委員會遴薦階段及校遴選委員會決選階段等三個階段。
Q: How does the selection process for the teaching awards work?
A: The selection process includes recommendations from the different departments and campuses (overseas department, offices, centers), followed by selections from the elective committee and decided by an elective committee.
